Thank you Charlayme for bringing this to attention.
Blow Monkeys are in my top 10 all-time favorite bands ever.
I didn't even know they had a new recording out or on its way.
It's amazing how all of these 80's vocalist sound so great after all of these years.

I had pre-ordered that in their self-run pledge campaign. Now it's all down to postage in this broken world.

I received mine this weekend and just had a first listen today. Excellent Soul record with a few excursions into Gap Band Funk. Great string, backing vocals, and brass arrangements. Laid back vibe. Great flute action. A record like the last one, that says "play me again" as soon as it's done! Maybe even better than "The Wild River."

This is another great Blow Monkeys recording!

I'm so grateful that Blow Monkeys are still making music.

This should be the new James Bond movie theme song!

Total agreement there. The quality of the music on disc probably belied its modest budget. Dr. Robert's production sure made what money they had go admirably far! I pledged for a CD and wanted to double that for a name in the booklet but money was tight, sadly.
