Still loads of stuff missing (all the material from the Sugarland era for one). But yes very excited to get hold of this next year. The CD versions of Naked and What Noise were fine so high hopes this sounds decent.

Nick has mentioned a new album coming soon too. I assume that is separate to the new tracks on here.

Love Lasts Forever 12" on the 2015 expanded Naked CD, seems to be missing from this box. Bit strange considering it's their biggest hit.

Is it? It did not chart in the UK. Their only top 75 single was The Last Film. I know some of the singles from Certain Things Are Likely were big hits in parts of Europe.

Ok so it wasn't much of a hit. But it did go to no.85 in the UK  Strange coz I thought it was much catchier than The Last Film.

Kissing the Pink: Anthology 1982-2024 has arrived on streaming services prematurely due to them getting the year wrong (2023)... and it's gone for now!

Seems that the CD set has seven exclusive tracks "New Recordings?" on the final CD, which do not appear on the streaming version.

Has anyone received their order yet?

And yes, there were a number of songs that I'd have loved to have included (thanks Negative 1). And to echo what BigManRestless said, it is completely missing the Sugarland release and singles. They recorded a few songs with X-press 2 (Makeshift Feelgood) a few years back. In addition, I know there are a lot of demos from the Certain Things Are Likely, Stand Up and Sugarland recordings which I have (including a couple of songs that never made it called Beauty Queen and the great Black Suit). Would have been nice to have some of those cleaned up and included. Lastly, a couple of the "new" songs are already available on their release Digital People (you can find it on Bandcamp). But I have to say Satellite is a great track!

I also heard from another fan that there was a scrapped album after Certain Things Are Likely, which is where Stand Up (Get Down) came from. This would have been the best chance to get that released.

Can anybody meaningfully comment on the sound and correctness of versions included, please?

The sound is the usual remastered sound with the DR 9. I consider the sound quality to be good with the DR 11-14. The Naked reissue by Wounded Bird has DR 12, the original CTAL is 14. So in my opinion the sound is not really good. But of course, it depends on what sound system you have. The more details of music it can deliver, the less tolerant you get to over-compression.
I am not a super fan, so I can't comment on the versions.

Thank you very much! Didn't expect anything much at all, really, but nice to know.

And yeah, Wounded Bird reissue sounds really good, that's how I fell in love with "Naked".
