The Bus Boys:

I was just listening to their first two albums and was wondering why they were so underated when compared to alot of other bands.The first two Arista albums were great.Especially the American Workers album.I heard the next album after that which I believe came out in the 90's and boy they sure didn't sound anything like the smae band from the way that I remember them in the 80's.My favorite songs from off of the first album was Did You See Me(A B 52's sound alike if there ever was one)and Respect.The KKK is also another great song.

Now off of the American Workers album I especially like the following songs.

Heart And Soul(yes,it is the same song that Huey Lewis and The News had a big hit with,but I think The Bus Boys version came out first)

I know that The Bus Boys are still around but what have they been doing after all these years?

I fondly remember The Bus Boys. From the first album I liked "Johnny Soul'd Out" and American Workers was a great second album all the way through. I wish it was on CD like their first album.

I agree. I had read from a critic or two that their take on their ethnicity in their songs hurt them rather than helped them. I was surprised "The Boys are Back in Town" from the "48 Hours" soundtrack wasn't a big hit, and even more surprised that "Clea

I too fondly remember the Bus Boys. Used to hear them in 1980-81 on KZAM in Seattle (actually Bellevue) "Modern Music, Modern Mono."
