New radio show needs help

Postby jetjaguar15 » Thu Jun 03, 2004 3:09 am

I've launched a new hourly show at www.flashbackalternatives.com post-cancellation of the old show I hosted. Since I'm the sole producer/program director/host/DJ for the show, the content will be somewhat different than the previous show. Some of the regular features I'll be occasionally including will be:
Either the show will have a newer track from a Flashback artist you might not know has continued to release music
OR:
A cover of a well-known 80's tune by a modern artist who is heavily influenced by FA-type music.
Here's the artists I'm planning on re-introducing to the crowd at FA (they apparently don't know that several of these bands have released recent material):
A-ha
Camouflage
Men Without Hats
Rational Youth
Seven Red Seven
Real Life

Any suggestions for other revived artists would be greatly appriciated.

I've got plenty of material for the first 4-6 shows... but could alway use more, especially for the shows following that. I'm looking specifically for unknown/unsigned/indie bands in the following veins (though this is not a hard and fast list, and I will give anything a listen at least):
New Wave
Synthpop
New Romantic
Industrial
EBM
.. and on and on.

So if you're interested, please send demo material to :
