Big Balls And The Great White Idiot

Now just by their funny name alone,would make me want to hear their music.I bet they were some sort of a New Wave novelty act? Am I right on this? I have never seen or heard any of their albums.Then again,they never showed up in any used record stores, or stores locally that would carry that stuff back when that album came out back in 1978.I like the title of one of their songs that I see is listed in my old Trouser Press guide from 1983 called Hang Yourself From An Apple Tree.

What a name for a band though.Whoever thought of and came up with the name was very clever for sure.It is bands like this and Sic F*cks that make you want to hear their music just by their name alone.Has anyone got a clue what "Big Balls And The Great White Idiot" sound like even? I wish I knew.Thanks.

Just looked these guys up over in Google groups,and could not help but crack up when some poster had their song titles listed from their album,when this song title came up.These guys must have really been Punk at a time when late 70's Punk was very good.T
