New Math & Jet Black Berries

Postby Grunch » Sun Jun 27, 2004 12:01 am

Really like both of these groups, somewhat one in the same, since after New Math, came the Jet Black Berries. I actually came across a CD, legitimate release, of all the New Math stuff from the 80s, that was great to find. Jet Black Berries was a more southwest rock feel typical of several other bands on the restless label at the time. Anyone into these bands? Remember the New Math classic "They Walk Among You" ??

I remember hearing Jet Black Berries' "The Flesh Element" on college radio in the late '80s -- pretty decent song.

The Flesh Element was one of their best songs. It also still had tinges of New Math in it also.

I have searched in vain for any legitimate cd release by New Math. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Jet Black Berries were awesome. I bought the New Math CD a few years ago but it looks like it is hard to find now.
