Two People

Postby Grunch » Sun Jun 27, 2004 3:11 am

Another overlooked, rather obscure English(?) duo that I guess just had a few 12" releases, but their songs were great. My favorite track by them was "This Is The Shirt" I have 8 tracks by them, all on Polydor:

This Is The Shirt
This Is The Day
Sister Sister
Heaven (Ext Mix)
Run To Him
Broken Arms
People In Love (Never Have Much Fun)
It's Obvious

Would really like to know if there are other tracks I don;t know about. No mention in allmusicguide or any of my 5 volumes of trouser press. They had such a good sound, blending jangly guitars with synth pop, and lush vocals harmonies. Just Excellent, period. If anyone has anything, and would like to swap tracks, PLEASE let me know.

with a yahoo account if you send me an email i can send an mp3 up to 10 mbs(all the songs i mentioned are smaller than that) and you'll have 100mbs of inbox space. so an email will get you these songs emailed to you.

One of my favs from the 80s, and yes, definitely overlooked. I've got a remastered CDR of all of their songs, about 14 tracks I believe. They are amazing.
