Hi Ho-I realize frequenters to this site may alreaday have what I'm about to suggest already bookmarked-but I do feel it incumbent upon myself to mention a great web site dedicated to the memory of IRS records it's irscorner.com (or Irsrecordscorner.com) juts plug in "IRS Records" and "Corner" into yahoo! and you'll get it. Not only will you find a complete story of the label that helped launch the police, squeeze, REM and the Felshtones, but it has a complete discography of all the labels associated with it (A & M, Step Forward and Deptford Fun City and Faulty). The site doesn't say, but I always wondered how the Republican Miles Copeland III and uber-leftist Jello Biafra got along?
One of the unsung stories is the strange bedfellow relationship between Copealnd and the DK's that helped launch Alternative Tentacles.

Also, a GREAT webcast is the archived shows of Little Steven's Underground Garage-there is so doubt the man loves the music and knows it well.

Not even I could reference the Plimsouls in this, however, another fave band-The Fleshtones-did their premium work on IRS.
