Info on Box Sets

Postby pikeprof » Sun Jul 18, 2004 7:22 am

High de ho again neighboreenos-I'm looking for some info on some box sets-

Does anyone have a copy of No Thanks! The Rhino 4-cd "birth of punk" box set-is it worth 65 bones or should I see if it makes its way to the used stores in a few months?

Also-this is a mystery: I heard about Rykodisk putting out a "Paisley Undergound" Box set-with all the usual suspects-Salvation Army/Three 0' Clock-Dream Syndicate-Rain Parade-but can't find any info on line-does anyone know of this set's existence?

No Thanks! is a really nice boxset. For me, it's definitely worth the money since I haven't got around to upgrading my collection to cd yet. Sometimes you just want a quick dose of the Avengers and you can't beat the convenience. And I've also listened to
