Any music / radio execs in here?

Postby MARV » Fri Jul 30, 2004 12:38 am

I'm a singer / songwriter looking for some like minded individuals with connections to give me my first big break! My influences include Depeche Mode, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Smiths - lots of other stuff too! I'm a music lover and my sound is reminiscent of New Order - Pet Shop Boys - Electronic. Melodic, nice beats and hooks and not your run of the mill lyrics. I'm looking to get radio play, get played in clubs, hook up with a good producer, get a distribution deal - anything! I have a demo and I want it to be heard so I figure I'll start here with people who's musical tastes I share.....

Any leads would be most appreciated!

Christsmasher,

Thanks for your response. Yeah, I realize that the market for what I'm doing is pretty small, that the major labels are unlikely to take a risk on me and that I'll barely get any airplay, if any. And I do know that college or internet ra

Thanks DJED!

I'll be sending you a disc in tomorrow's mail. The DJ at Saints & Sinners out on Long Island, NY played it. People actually danced to it last night!
