Our opinions about JFiber's post about silly threads doesn't have to be an all or nothing, or "this or that", reaction either. MikeP has done an amazing job in keeping this board civil, pleasurable, and informative. Please don't post any more "us vs them" threads and try to get peope into your camps. There are no camps! Just music lovers. We should use common sense and moderate ourselves.

I've noticed a ton of these OT threads too and have chosen to ignore the large majority of them. If I had something interesting or funny to say, I've occasionally joined in. It bothers others more and some less. Doesn't it seem like it's getting a bit carried away though? Whatever the case, take the high road and be civil.

Oh, and like Gothica mentioned in another post - "I miss grapeape" - newer members have no idea how much that whole episode sucked! You never know what a good thing you have until blah blah blah...

Who is this Grapeape character? My interest has now been officially piqued. Wasn't he a cartoon character on Hanna Barbera's Laff-a-lympics?

This person "grapeape" came around in early spring if I remember right, right after a Gary Numan site linked to us. Grapeape represented himself as a Iraq war veteran who had his legs blown off and had this very strong liking (which he made known in almos

Right, so Grapeape was an anarchist, kinda, sort of. I had a quick look in the members registry and he/she is no longer listed. Were Grapeapes posts funny, or just plain silly? I guess if they migrated from a Gary Numan site they were probably a little

Myirwin, I agree. We should take the high road. I guess what got me so mad was the way things were said. If you don't agree, either ignore or state your case in a civil manor. I have nothing against jfiber. He may have a point about the site that I do not
