Any Groovies fans out there?

I'm a big fan of the Falmin' Groovies from all ther incarantions-they started out in SF in the 60s and continued largely to the present day. Not NW but you can hear their sound in a lot of NW bands. They Got Signedto to THE New Wave label, Sire in the late 70s.

Groovies' greatest grooves (out of print) on Sire is a good CD sampler for the uninitiated-the canadian 80s band-Teenage Head got their name from one of their songs and so did the mag-Bucketful of Brains

Occasionally I still see that Sire comp. in record stores and I should really pick it up since I have it somewhere on a cassette. From what I've read the Groovies started off as Garage revivalists (they'd be HUGE today) before drifting into a 60's Mersey

All their CD's were remastered with bonus tracks in the last couple of years, quite a few bonuses on each, sounding better than ever. They managed to rock across generations.
