Robin Gibb Gone New Wave

Postby DevoManiac101 » Tue Oct 05, 2004 8:53 am

Hello,

Everyone knows Robin Gibb from the 70's disco band The Bee Gees, but I bet some of you never heard any of his solo work in the 80's? "Boys Do Fall In Love" do any one of you remember this synth pop classic. I have loved this song ever since it came out in the 80's and I just thought I'd ask if anyone here knows any of his solo stuff as well. Some other great songs are:

Juliet
How Old Are You?
Secret Agent

Thanks, Justin/DevoManiac101

Yeah! A total classic right there, I was even lucky enough to find the 12" remix on Mirage records, really cool sound samples used

Anyone of you remember the title of the Robin Gibb's song that says on the chorus "oh oh oh love me tonight" and mentions the words "stranger" and "fire" ?

I think "How Old Are You?" is great, though the vocals should of been mixed a little louder. The video has a nice sense of humour, being based on the "St. Trinians" series of films.
