Dance Hall Crashers

I bought a disc by The Fall at the used disc store. When I opened it up, there was a second disc in there: "The Old Record" by Dance Hall Crashers. I had never heard of them. They have a brassy, jangly pop sound with nasal female vocals. Not too bad, certainly worth the price. Anybody familiar with them?

Yes, about 5 years ago I picked up their CD 'Lockjaw' after hearing it played in a used record store I was browsing through. I think the songs are really well-written, I really like the harmonizing the two girls do (usually I could care less about that k

Yeah I remember them. I met thier origanal drummer (the guy befor Gavin) back in 1988 at Gilman at a New York Citizens show. And at verious times at the Twilight Zone in Alameda. Though I was a little bit older than he was I thought he was cool because
