The artists listed below managed to achieve much more success in their own countries but were basically one-hit-wonders in the United States. Based on their entire body of work (singles, e.p.'s, and albums), which of the following acts should have been more successful in America?

NOTE: I have no idea why the voting buttons have disappeared! Yikes!

Apparently you can only see the buttons the first time you load the page - just once, and possibly only if your a member[?]

Actually, I think you can see the buttons until the point where you view the results...even if you haven't voted yet, viewing the results locks you out...is that right Mike P? And Siouxsie was pretty big in the US...I saw her a bunch of times in various 4

The Human League had 2 big hits in the usa, including "Human".
I don't think Ultravox had any hits. It depends on how you define "hits" of course. I would say the Smiths either had multiple or no hits, again depending on your definition of "hits".

Ultravox shoulda been HUGE if not with John Foxx, then definitely with Midge Ure. It's surprising most casual listeners can't associate the band's name with any song, not even their hits.

I voted for Ultravox, naturally, but I also believe Talk Talk and Icicle Works should have had wayyy more recognition in the States, too.

The Human League also scored minor US Top 40 hits with "Mirror Man" and "Heart Like a Wheel." Granted they just barely broke the Top 40 but they were there.
