"WOW" is right! I just got a listen to the album. Stylistically, it's very much like Sparkle in the Rain IMHO. I don't like the way it opens though. "Stay Visible" is a bit too bombastic ala later Kerr - kinda made me fearful where this was going. But the rest of the album redeems itself. "Stranger" is my favorite right now - a towering song that's the most like NGD I guess. [:I]

The US release has been delayed until next year (I think the label wants to wait until the band is ready to tour), but the UK version is available now. You can also stream the album at simpleminds.com.
