Don't know if any of you get Stuff magazine, but their latest issue listed Ian Curtis as the #14 most important fashion icon of 2004-05. Not bad for a guy whose been dead for a quarter of a century.[:D]

Oh, totally. That whole collared, button down slim fitting shirt with the top few buttons loose and the straight legged slacks look is totally hip. The tossled short hair cut. Kind of neat but unkept look. That's what I love about Joy Division. Generation after generation, the hippest of the hip elite admire them. They're counter culture seeping into mainstream culture while they (the mainstream) say they don't like them. I love it.

And with each year that passes, Ian's and Joy Division's mythos grows. As such, New Order are, quite literally, living legends. Living gods. And that will never come to pass.
