Thunderstruck by this Blind Faith cover!

Postby Frau_Blucher » Fri Sep 30, 2005 10:54 am

I've always found Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Home" to be an incredbily soulful, almost mystical song. Plus of course I've tortured many of you with my ad nauseum New Order ramblings. Then how the heck could I have overlooked that Bernard Sumner and Electronic covered this magnificent song on their 1999 Twisted Tenderness album?! Wow, what a freaking great treat for a fan of both!!! [:p]

Wow, that's my favourite Blind faith song, too.[:)] That sounds like it has the potential to be a great cover.

There's also an ethereal version that was released in 1986 by Torch Song (William Orbit's project.)

Swan's version of this kick's Barney's purple ass...but the original is still the best...

I thought this topic was gonna be about the original Blind Faith album cover that this track was on...This caused a major scandal when it came out in 1969 since this is Ginger Baker's then 11 yr old daughter. It got pulled off shelves everywhere until they changed the cover art...

That was in the 60's...could anyone imagine the implications of some band trying to release this today?
