Githead

I moved this from the "NNNW" thread so the real intent wasn't lost.
The group is githead and wondering if anyone else has listened to their last release "profile" yet? Well worth getting. for those of you who don't know who githead is, they are Colin Newman(Wire) Malka Spigel (Minimal Compact and Colin's wife),Robin Rimbaud (Scanner) very pop'ish and they tried to capture that "new wave" sound and it works. Their first release was an ep called "Headgit" and Malka has released a few with Colin producing and playing on too: Rosh Ballata, my pet fish, and the electronic collaboration "Immersion". Colin's release "Bastard" had kinf of the same feel. But everyone should check out these releases.

oneno (hensoneno?),
never heard of this particular group, but I have an abscure CD simply titled Swim Team, which seems to be a compilation of these 2 artists and other assorted friends. It's a fabulous ambient, elctro chill sort of project, very very cool. I'd been seeing your thread titles for about a week now and just this morning made the connection that I have this CD w/ their names on it.

Thanks for the tip.
I've just got about everything of the Newman/Wire works. But didn't get into the Swim-stuff. I bought Bastard! a month or 2 ago. I like it a lot. Also the old Newman solo albums are good to still play, but I like the way he evoluted his ound and music-approach ! Also listened to Githead through amazon.com, and really love that stuff. Thanks for the tip !

I bought "Profile" at this year's WFMU Record Fair (November)[paid $8], but have yet to listen to it. My bad!
I'll try to listen before the end of the year!
