5-7 I was thinking was The Pretenders, but it also could be U2. I think the right half looks like U2 and the left half the Pretenders, hehe.

Actually, there's no mistaking that hat that the Edge wore. I think it is U2. But the middle one with the leather pants and white tank looks more like Chrissie Hynde than Bono. Oh well. :o/

Also, 2-6 could be John Cougar Mellancamp, instead of Bryan Adams.

I was torn between the two - but I went with Bryan Adams, I think he may have had bigger cheesy big hits. Although, I notice the hair is brown - so you're probably right!

Yeh, the guy on the left corner is Stevie Wonder[8D] The guy with the guitar everyone's confused about is The Boss. That's a bandana on his head. I swear those three guys in the top row, column 5 look familiar. That guitar, those patches on the jeans... who could it be?!

Oh shit! Sean got it right... that's A-Ha![:D][:D][:D]

How about Row 4 Column 2 as "Madness" There were seven members at one time in that band.

Row 5 Column 6 - I vote for "Bangels" (the original band had only 3 gals), but it could very well be "Bananarama" as guessed above.

I just now noticed that the ones that stumped you(as well as me) were, technically, 90s acts. No wonder!
