You are welcome, actually it's a very interesting topic (if you are into songwriting and composition). Too bad that everybody started making Terri Nunn comments!!! She's pretty but not who I'd like to be.

Me neither... she's someone I woulda liked to be with[8D]

Hey, as I said before, I'd be in a Depeche Mode-like group with music that sounds a lot like Some Great Reward and Black Celebration. To spark some interest in the albums and singles, I'd insert hidden/subliminal messages in the songs, the cover images, and even with the song-list - not something evil or depressing, but something cool and offbeat. Also, after every live gig, I'd do the encore by covering old and unknown songs[:D]

Didn't know Terri Nunn tried out the part for Princess Leia. But I do know she tried out for Tinto Brass' Caligula. Her name was Betsy Harris at the time. Too bad she was just 16 so she didn't get the part.

On a serious note, I would be Terry Bozzio in Missing Persons.

Bozzio, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated musicians to come out of the genre. Extremely talented and didn't get the credit he deserved as a top drummer because of the lack of credence the "mainstream" critics gave to MP's music.

Or lack of credit to New Wave in general. What the hell do critics know, anyway.

Yep. Pretty much. That whole band- O'Hearn, Bozzio, Cuccurullo, Wild- all a who's who of musicians who were ahead of their time (except for maybe Dale, but she looked good at the time [8D] ) .

I'd love to be Jim Kerr of Simple Minds and walk around wearing berets and pirate shirts and leggings and still be considered fabulous!

Hey, as XXX wants to be a sort of Martin Gore, I thought woulndn't it be way cool to be a sort of David Byrne??? I'd like that, to put a little bit of clever humour into some totally mad songs. [:D]
