I was wondering if anyone knows the story behind Joy Division's Live at Preston album. I know there were some technical difficulties because at a moment I think that Ian says "We'll have to play everything through the bass output". But I'd like to get the full story on that ahow if somebody knows it.

Hate to break it to you, but all that it was, was good old fashioned technical difficulties. Or so I've heard from 3 sources, one of them being a second hand account of one of JD's roadies. I would love to know otherwise, if I'm wrong.
