Oh.... Those Protestants[:0]

Well maybe Protestant in name only. Maybe they are protesting against Jesus and the bible and HIS commandments.

I very much doubt you are balling some bible believing fundy chick. Maybe some liberal chick rased in a liberal women run Methedist church.[;)] or a clueless worldly chick who attends some sorry ass (exuse the French) have God your way, seeker friendly, church groth, calvery chapel type church.

Cheers
It's called not being one dimensional, listening to music outside of what some unseen hipster judge thinks is "cool". I have no interest in being percieved as "cool". That's juvenile nonsense. Preppies and cheerleaders from 1984?? 22 years ago?? Talk about irrelevant!
Well be one dementional with someone who is cooler[;)] Prince is a Jehovahs Witness just like that child raping Micheal Jackson who sings the same type of crap. Look if you want to be multidimentional as you put it get some Stanly Clarke or Jaco Pastorius. I might buy the CD just to take it to the gun range. What's next Ghosty are you gonna get the new Hilery Duff Album
One man's suck is another man's cool. Sorry, I'LL be the judge of what I listen to, thank you very much. List your top ten and I'll tell you who I think is embarassing off that list (Stanley Clarke's a little too "slick" for me but if it works for you great). On second thought, don't bother. There is no right and wrong in music since there are about a thousand external or emotional reasons why a particular song or perfromer affects you. This fact seems to have escaped you.

After reading your take on Jehovah's Witness comment it's clear you have a very strange view on a variety of different issues. Good luck with that.

Hillary Duff is one of the most underrated performers of our time. Her idiosyncratic approach to singing reminds of Thelonious Monk's keyboard work. I'd say that Duff's "Most Wanted" CD rivals The Mothers Of Invention's "We're Only In It For The Money" for THE definitive scathing post-modern attack on popular music. If only Captain Beefheart's "Trout Mask Replica" had been informed with Duff's genius. I think she should join The Residents actually.
