Glad you liked it Manekineko. Much of the lp is short snippets of half baked ideas, but when they get down to doing a full song, they are quite talented.

My first contact to the New Wave music my older brother, who liked to hear bands like Sisters Of Mercy, Tuxedomoon, Invincible Spirit, Front 242 etc...
One of my first favourite songs was "Gimme Shelter" from Sisters Of Mercy, followed by "No Tears" from Tuxedomoon.

There was a great german-radio show in these days called "Grenzwellen". The DJ played a lot of new and classic New Wave stuff. In germany we also have the possibility to listen to John Peel and he was SOOOO important for the musical education. Hearing his show always meant to learn new bands, new styles and to hear fantastic music.

Now he is listening to techno and my main focus is on the so called MINIMAL-ELEKTRO / NEW WAVE / ELEKTRO POP

New Wave Outpost! I consider NWO (and the people on it) to be just as important mentors of my musical development as the friends who originally turned me on to new wave and punk in the 1980s.
