Late Night Transatlantic
Spring In Fialta
One More Trauma
Staring At The Ceiling

There was even the one song that I didn't like that much before and love now, that's "Suspense".

I would love to have seen Pal Shazar perform Brazilian Magazines at her pouty perky best. That would have driven me nuts. Beside President Am I, Spring in Fialta, and Vanessa Vascillating that KROQ frequently played in SoCal, I recall Rodney even playing the likes of East Berlin By Rail and maybe even Talk About Horses. Has anybody heard her solo stuff? Apparently at least 4 albums according to this article...

Thought they had 3 good songs ("Spring in Fialta," "Staring at the Ceiling" and the second version of "President Am I") and the rest is more or less not worth hearing. I don't know how or why "Talk About Horses" found its way into a video and a 7" single, but it's positively unlistenable. Pretty bold of Pal to say she was insulted after RCA offered them a new deal to release an EP when the two albums sold a combined 12 copies.

So not my favorite band, but the album art for "Mad About Town" is a favorite.

I forgot one I liked... "She's Like America." Not a bad song at all. Although really everything on the s/t album is better than "Talk About Horses" -- even the obvious filler.
