more creative/phil seymour or dwight twilley???

Postby georgie rockwood » Fri Feb 02, 2007 1:01 am

who was more creative to their music/songwriting/sound ?????
phil seymour or dwight twilley?????
i really feel that phil seymour's pressence was the more creative force behind the dwight twilley band!!!!!
especially on their last album together as a band,,"twilley dont mind". you can hear phil's hooks all throughout that album with his singing/drumming etc.....which is amazing since dwight wrote all the material.
even when dwight wrote material for phil seymour's 2 solo albums, those songs he wrote for phil were much better than dwight's solo stuff.
you can hear after the twilley dont mind album, with dwight twilley's first solo album,"twilley","scuba divers","girls" etc...that some of the magic was gone from the music.
when you hear phil's contributions to....tom petty & the heartbreakers/20-20/plimsouls/cretones/textones etc....there was magic....
there was even a rumor goin around before phil got cancer that him & dwight were goin to get back together and record a new dwight twilley band album......
