STARBUCK.... forrunners to synth. pop????

how many out there agree with me that the 70's atlanta georgia based band,starbuck,was a forrunner to the synth.pop movement?????
(some of you may be too young to remember the 70's)
starbuck had a huge hit in 1976 called,"moonlight feels right",followed by,"i got to know" & "lucky man". then by,"everybody be dancin" in 1977 as well as, "sunset eyes" and finally,"searching for a thrill" in 1978.
the reason why i say forrunner to synth. pop is because starbuck was a 7 piece band,consisting of 3 guys on synths/keyboards etc....bass guitar,drums/syn-drums,guitar & percussion/vibes.
starbuck's music was heavily driven by keyboards & synths. and when the early 80's came around,you could easily hear starbuck's influence in some of the band's music etc....
i can also remember reading in early interviews of bands like,depeche mode,our daughters wedding,units,trees,daf,,,that starbuck had an influence because it was so keyboard/synth driven etc....
