Will Sergeant, APB record station IDs for WXB 102

Postby suttonrecords » Mon Apr 09, 2007 7:06 am

Will Sergeant, the legendary guitarist of Echo & the Bunnymen, has recorded his own station ID for WXB 102 which began airing today. We are honored to have Sergeant, who played the beloved riffs of "Lips Like Sugar," "The Killing Moon," and countless other New Wave classics, contributing to The Station That Dares To Be Different.

Iain Slater, the lead singer and bassist for Scotland's APB, has recorded a station ID for WXB 102 as well; you'll hear it, too, beginning today.

The stars are coming ALIVE on WXB 102. Thank you for your support. Who would've thought 20 years ago when WXB 102 introduced Echo & the Bunnymen to the Philippines that Will Sergeant would be talking about WXB 102 on our airwaves?

Listen to THE GHOST live from Manila, Philippines right now at:

http://www.wxb102.tk

In fact, you can e-mail the DJ booth at wxb102.live@gmail.com and ask him to play that Will Sergeant station ID. Isn't it cool?

Hear the cavemen singing, good news they're bringing...
