Nothing obscure, but my personal favorites are all reissues which are OOP themselves:

The Plimsouls - Plimsouls...Plus
20/20 - 20/20 & Look Out 2-fer
Wire Train - In a Chamber

Magazine
March Violets
Fad Gadget

All the Magazine albums were recently re-released.
Not sure which March Violets you are referring to; my fuzzy memory tells me that a cd was recently re-released, but am not sure; similar for Fad Gadget (multiple lps, right?)

Counterfeit EP isn't out of print, at least not in the EU.

How about the Lover Speaks?

How about:

Red Box - The Circle and the Square
Secession - The Dark Enchantment
Howard Jones - The 12" Album
The Quick - Wah Wah

The sad thing is, I have owned all of these at various times.

I totally agree OBS...I love HJ.

I believe the "Counterfeit" cd from Martin is OOP in the states, I recently just found another copy, so I'm good to go. I love Wire Train.

The March Violets-"Botanic Verses" is OOP here in the US, and has been for some time. I would love to see it re=released w/some b sides though. Which MV was recently re-released in the US? I need to pick that up.

I was able to pick up the "Botanic Verses" however @ Tower for .67 cents,as I dont think anyone knew who they were.(this was of course during their liquidation sale).

Fad Gadget-the ONLY think available(according to MY record store) from them is" the singles", as Mute for some reason...WILL NOT release any of it.

Lords of the New Church is another great band that's stuff is nearly impossible to find.

Well I don't think that the thread specified out-of-print in the USA. I remember during the post-punk/new wave era 90%+ of my record purchases were of product not available as US releases (Clash/New Order/Pet Shop Boys/Depeche Mode etc etc). With the easy access to internet based vendors (e.g. Amazon, A Different Drum. The Ideal Copy etc etc) where the cd is in print has mostly lost all significance.

The SCREAMING BLUE MESSIAHS have to be reissued some day.

The DANCING HOODS Relativity EP/LP never got to CD.

URGH A MUSIC WAR and TIMES SQUARE soundtracks probably never will be re-released, as there's to many defunct bands to track down.
