ESPN quoting Depeche Mode???

On the Sunday NFL wrap-up..."Words are very unnecessary, they can only do harm"..."Enjoy the silence"...in relation to the Pats defeat of the Steelers, making Anothony Smith's guarantee look pretty silly. Now I've seen and heard everything! Pretty funny though. Anyone else catch this?

Was it John Bucigross? He's infamous for dropping music references. When he used to work on NHL Tonight on ESPN2, he would drop some pretty obscure references, like "Driver 8 take a break", or something from a Replacements or Smiths song (and many other bands). I always liked him for that.

Ack...I can't remember who it was now. It might have been Buccigross or another non-regular. I didn't think to catch it again while Sports Center repeats 10 times in the morning.
