I like Chrome a tad better though because it displayed more depth and emotion. The sound really improved on that album so it didnt feel like any other shoegazer bands. I sort of wonder why Catherine Wheel never really took off since the whole distorted guitar period was very popular. They really had the tools to break out like Oasis and Radiohead did

That IS a good album. I should try to track down a copy of that on CD. I remember it as having kind of a PiL circa "album" quality to it in some places.

That IS a good album. I should try to track down a copy of that on CD. I remember it as having kind of a PiL circa "album" quality to it in some places.
