Buried Treasure

I know there are alot of New Order fans here so I thought I'd share this write-up I came across in an older issue of Muzik magazine. Technique was truly my defining album the year it came out while I was in college. I listened to it constantly during those long design studio classes. What do you consider "buried treasure" in your music collection?

I don't know if I'd consider a "buried treasure" a defining album , but maybe one you've forgotten about. A cd you realize you don't have on your i-pod and should. In fact, I'm going grab The Woodentops "Giant" right now and add it.

If by "buried treasure", you mean a defining album that you've forgotten about, for me, I'd go with The Smith's [i]Hatful of Hollow[/i]. I listened to that soooooo much in college. It epitomized much of my college experience. I'd play it when I was writing papers, painting, reading, just hanging out. The lyrics were ripe for introspection and the music was absolutely sublime.
