Possible NWOutpost night in NYC

Postby atreidesny » Thu May 08, 2008 6:08 am

Would any folks in the NYC area be interested in a New Wave night in a space in the Hells Kitchen area? Me and a friend have set up a place with a nice sound system, and want to start some new parties there. We don't have much of a budget, so for now any DJs would be unpaid, perhaps we could have a couple DJ for a 80 minute sets each. Do any of you NYC peeps think we could have a sustainable audience, or perhaps throw a monthly or bi-monthly party? With the permission of Mike, we could call it a New Wave Outpost party. Email me directly for details, ideas, suggestions, if you would want to DJ, et cetera (atreidesny@bluebottle.com). We are thinking a Friday night, we already have the space and soundsystem so we are ready to go. Hope to hear from some of you.

cheers,

Patrick

Very cool, Patrick ... you know you have my NWO blessing![8D] Sorry I didn't catch this sooner -- this has been a week from hell here at my workplace so I've been out of the loop. Give us an update when you get a chance.

Speaking as someone who lived in Hell's Kitchen for 8 months... no, I'm really not interested in ever setting foot in that place again.

Unless you're going to be having it in Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen. That Hell's Kitchen is probably easier to deal with.
