'Airplay'.. A (NY?) Radio Documentary Circa 1982

Anyone ever hear of/see this (BBC?) film?

I just caught some youtube clips featuring segments showcasing WNEW back in the day. Pretty amazing 'slice of life' footage.

My memory was jogged because I now recall seeing a similar segment featuring WBLS's Frankie Crocker and some vintage urban NY footage on a chance encounter random cable channel scan some 25+ years back.

PLEASE, I need to know more about this film![8)]

Doesn't even come up on the IMDB database search.

You're Welcome Spit

Hopefully I will..[;)]

BTW: The 1st clip was actually pt. 4 (Dave Herman is the featured DJ)

I also dug the little snippet of Yaz and the cute marketing girl sporting the (then) fashionable matching lipstick & cheek blush plus the mint green and mauve outfit.

Here are the other clips:

Part 3 Features an aptly chosen Charlie Dore's 'Pilot of The Airwaves' as a bed for this segment featuring Dave Herman
