It might be cutting edge, doesn't mean its any good. Rhianna is considered cutting edge by a lot of people.

@ dj craig : my opinion is 1st & foremost based on what i hear myself , of course !
if the great majority ( plain fact , as u can read for yourself - no matter , if u like it or not ! ) of yaz(oo) , alison moyet & vince clarke fans actually think that a certain mix is pants , it only goes to show that they simply don't like to listen to it !

fyi : i've only expressed my personal opinion 1st , but i haven't explicitly stated "IMHO" or something like that in my reply , as i think that it's not always necessary !
well ... after your pissed & totally unnecessary reaction to it i only told u the truth about what the great majority of yaz(oo) , alison moyet & vince clarke fans indeed think about that remix ( plain fact ) !

anyway ...

this part of your latest reply jus' proves without a doubt what an ignorant , self-centered , tasteless & utterly arrogant idiot u are & i can only *lol* about such pretentious jerks like u !

btw : if u really want to "sacrifice" anything , please make it your ears , as u obviously have no need for them any longer ! [}:)]

however ...

Now that's the kind of intelligent reply I would expect from someone who has nothing of substance to say to back up their opinion. Your childish defensiveness is a product of your inability to tolerate being challenged.

As with much of life, musical taste is subjective. There is no final authority, only opinions. If this is how you typically react when you encounter an opinion that doesn't mimic your own, you've got a very rough road ahead.

Should you, at some point, decide to work on your insecurity issues, I will wish you luck. Until then, my sympathies will lie with those close to you who have to endure your current attitude and behavior.

u are really "a funny twat" , dj craig ! [:D]

1st U pick a pretty unnessesary fight because i don't agree with your taste concerning ONE particular mix & then u even have the impudence to tell me

guess what ?
it's actually the other way around , as U are the one , who doesn't like to be challenged by somebody else , who doesn't agree with u on something ! [:p]

however ... people like u are jus' a pain in the ass & can't stand it , if others not always agree with everything they say / write / suggest in any way & almost immediately "explode" , if there's somebody like me , who don't agree with u - see above !

fyi : if U can't accept that i - or anybody else ! - say something like "that mix is [ ... ] actually the WORST of them all , sorry !" & feel the urge to react with an utterly retarded comment like "How silly of me not to have the exact same taste as you. What was I thinking?" , it's clear for ALL to see , who the idiot is in this case : nobody else but U , as i even told u in a still respectful way after that reply , why your opinion is a single one , while my opinion is backed up by many others , who think the same as i do about the point in case !

sadly u are way too self-centered to ever seem to realize your mental deficits & admit that u were jus' irked about my disagreement with u here ! *sigh*

really 'nuff said for now ...

I remember hearing a wicked remix of Kajagogoo's "Too Shy" on LIR back in the mid to late 90s and haven't been able to find it since.

I also rank a remix/extended version of Talk Talk's "Life's What You make it" I found in a thrift store a few years ago as one of my favorites.
