"Father Christmas" by The Kinks and "Shattered" by The Rolling Stones come immediately to mind.
What other punk or new wave sounding songs were released by bands not normally associated with these genres?
We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

Just watched that on YouTube and he does out-Numan Numan on it. Interesting track.

its really not that bad---I bought recently the whole 'Flash the fashion' lp by ALice just for this track === gotta check out the rest of the tracks
