seems like an act of desparation to me.
although the Pet Shop Boys did something somewhat similar with their record sleeves for Before (and doubly so for The Truck Driver and His Mate[;)]

For some reason I can't quite figure out that pic of him and the baby that has begun appearing in ads for his tour. (He'll be coming to Albuquerque; I'm thinking of going). In fact, it bugs me. What a strangely composed picture; the baby is awkwardly held, and this image he's got going on with the rolled up shirtsleeves and the tough-auto-worker-guy just puts me off.
