Doug holds a BFA in Music Composition from the California Institute of The Arts where he studied with some of the most influential composers and performers of the time. Join him as he honors some of them including Harold Budd, Steve Reich, Morton Subotnick, Leonid Hambro, I Nyoman Wenten, T. Viswanathan, Earle Brown, Ingram Marshall with help from Brian Eno, Michael Hoenig, Lilly Tomlin, P.D.Q. Bach, Peter Schickele and Åke Hodell.
Doug Lynner's World of Noise airs on http://www.flashbackalternatives.com, an internet radio station. The show repeats 3/12/09 at 9pm PDT and 3/15/09 at 6am PDT.

Doug Lynner is a founding member of the synthpop bands Invisible Zoo, Moebius and LEM, and was the publisher and editor of the international electronic music magazine, Synapse.
