The Lotus Eaters Rehearse and Set List
Just an update to let you all know that rehearsals for next Saturday are going well and we have some interesting aspects to the live set. We are joined for three of the songs by a string quartet, Ricochet, You're The One and If You Need Me Now. We are sounding as close to the original band as we are ever likely to do, and will be joined by Michael Dempsey on some songs, too. We are hoping Stephen Emmer will join us, but the basic band is sounding just so engaging, the old as well as the new are sounding exciting.

A note on the venue: we are using a Walterurf screen that ascends from the floor of the stage in the Philharmonic Hall, and are producing a monochrome video stream with Tiffany Robinson, our VJ. The band will be wearing black and white to cohere with the video projections, but we will be changing colour as the LED lighting produces columns of different coloured light.

We are really looking forward to meeting everyone and have booked a venue close by the Philharmonic for an aftershow party.

Set List:
1 You Don’t Need Someone New (Charleston)
2 German Girl
3 Out On Your Own
4 First Picture Of You (7” version extended)
5 Just One Life
6 Celebrity Black Out
7 Death Of Dreams
8 Sarah
9 Ricochet…………………x strings
10 You’re The One………...x strings
11 If You Need Me Now……x strings
12 DyingSoldier
13 Feel It
14 Bodywave
15 First Picture Part Two
16 Alone Of All Her Sex
17 It Hurts
18 The Pearl
19 Drive
20 Sneak Through
21 Midnight………………dub
22 Can Your Kisses Fly……….guitars?
23 You Fill Me With Need……………x
24 Can You Keep A Secret………….x
25 Just One Life

Finally, this really will be a very special show and there's no way of knowing when The Lotus Eaters will once more be assembled as completely as next Saturday, so do make every effort to come...

Best

Jem and Peter

Just wish I could be there. One of my fave albums from the 80's. Their new album sounds really good too.
