Exactly! I mean "After The Snow" was awesome. "Someone's Calling"(My favorite ME song ever) should've been huge, but wasn't. "Life in the gladhouse" is cool too. Great disc all around.

=Baltimora- I love a lot of their cheesey disco tunes, and some more [:D]
=Flirts - one of the best girls groups of 80's
=Device - Holly Knight is a talented tunesmith, why this band was never bigger is strange. Even their biggest hit gets little play. Hmm, Spider was good too.

I loved Spider. I blame Mike Chapman for accelerating their breakup. But Device I always thought was eh. They were lucky to have their first two singles chart, because Holly Knight wrote far better stuff for other people than she wrote for her own band in that case. Hell, even the limp Shanghai album without her I thought had better songs on it -- and it totally tanked.

I have to agree with lots that have been mentioned, especially Baltimora and Real Life & The Outfield.
But how about A-Ha? They had maybe 3 "hits" you ever hear but they're all around solid IMO. Alphaville I feel like fits in the same category.

Howard Jones had a lot of hits I think, but oddly I was in ARBY'S the other day and they started playing "Life in One Day" and it took me like 20 minutes to figure out what the hell song it was and why I knew it. When I realized what it was I almost flipped out.
