Favorite John Hughes Movie

So what do you think?

I included the films he worked on during the eighties just to keep it relevant within the structure of the New Wave Outpost. Besides, anybody into film knows that was his defining period.

I sense a John Hughes marathon in my very near future.....

Hey everyone, remember me!!! It's the middle of the night and I'm transferring some vinyl to mp3 (Face to Face on the turntable right now) and totally got nostalgic for the new wave outpost... used to post here a lot back in 2005(!). I hope you're all doing well... shout out to my peeps... 2nu, benatwork, phillyidol, MikeP and the rest...

Totally 16 candles. Many classic movies, plus some I really didn't like. I remember a 1990 summer beachhouse weekend on LBI here in Jersey, we rented Christmas Vacation and were like "God, isn't this ever going to end?"

RIP DJ Jim (poster savethewave)... I'll miss you forever bro. I know you're still spinning at The Melody Bar in the sky.

I went with Planes, Trains & Automobiles.

If you asked me this same question back in the early 90s, I would've said Breakfast Club, which I didn't see until like 6 years after it came out.
