Boston's Legendary Punk Band La Peste

Just finished cutting video of the legendary Boston punk band La Peste. La Peste ruled the punk scene in Boston from 1979-82, their live shows packed clubs across town from Cantones to the Rat.

The punk power trio also caught the ear of pioneer BBC DJ John Peel. After his passing a few years back, La Peste’s 7” vinyl of “Better Off Dead” turned up in John’s favorite music box.

The new cut of the La Peste live audio and video footage captures the buzz saw energy of the band, while providing an inside look at the punk nightclub and loft space scene that was La Peste’s domain. You can watch a sample of the video by following this link:

Great band! What about some other lost Bostonian groups like Bonjour Aviators(ruled the proto punk scene along with Reddy Teddy,TNT),Inflictors,Fox Pass,Dangerous Birds?
