Lost (New Wave CD's) in the supermarket

Over the past few years I've found my local supermarkets (Pathmark, A&P, etc) to be a good resource for cheap CD's. I picked up nearly all of The Cure's Rhino reissue double CD sets for about $5 a piece and generally when there's a new reissue series on the way, the old standard issue CD's wind up in the racks for $5 (hence I bought Duran Duran's entire remastered back catalog from around 10 years ago up to Notorious for under $25).

I'm also seeing a lot of imports going for $6.99 and under including a slew of stuff on the Disky label (Kim Wilde albums, comps,etc.). Anyone else running across some finds near the produce aisle like me?

I've seen some good deals in drug stores like Rite-Aid over the years, but never any good new wave stuff. Mostly classic rock.

Yeah, I only see a lot of rock stuff, some New Wave, more poppy New Wave though. Nothing like The Cure and Duran Duran.

Hmm...maybe it depends on what state you're in? I see the poppy stuff too of course (Bananrama reissue series) but a great deal of decent material, including those New Order reissues from a few years ago that are supposed to be horrible.
