Then again it does depend what country your're in. For example Jona Lewie only had two hits here in his home country but was hugely popular in Europe.

I agree Country makes a huge difference... in either case in this instance though Jona Lewie is not a true one hit wonder...

I think there are some artists that are truely one hit wonders.... regardless of country though... they are the ones I (personaly) am interested in... but they can be very hard to find..

I could _guess_ at maybe Toni Basil and Marilyn as 2 examples...?

Jonia Lewie was an example of an artist being more popular elsewhere.

Marilyn has had more than one hit here; 'Cry and Be Free' and 'You Don't Love Me' were also top 40 hits here.
