Band names that people make fun of...

Postby Spaz » Thu Mar 31, 2005 5:34 pm

I'm sure you've all experienced someone making fun of the bands you like by making fun of the band's name and changing it to something less than savory. Here are two examples I've heard numerous times throughout the years:

A FLOCK OF SILLY HAIRCUTS
KAKADOODOO

Can you think of names that people would alter just to taunt you?

I always refer to Phil Collins as Tom Collins and once while in Tahoe I ordered a Phil Collins from the casino waitress and she gave me her number because she thought i was funny. [:D] She confused my dorkiness with being funny. Now thats funny.

Some of my Italian friends took to calling them Peeshe Mode.

"Peeshe" (phonetic spelling, not an expert in the Italian language) apparently is the word for "penis" or some vernacular form of the word.

How about "Well Hung" instead of Wang Chung? Heard that a few times.

I had a friend who absolutey HATE Natalie Merchant (I'm not much of a fan either) and would only ever refer to her as Snatch Merchant. Not quite sure why though.
