Human Sexual Response

Looking for thoughts on Boston art rockers HSR. Another overlooked band from the 80's that did more than "Jackie Onasis" and "What Does Sex Mean To Me"--the 2 lamest songs off that album. Great tunes such as "Anne Frank Story","Dolls","Marone Moan" and "Dick and Jane" (sort of remind me of BABY JUDY bY Hawaiian Pups ) always get ignored. Thoughts??

And their second's a classic as well. "Andy feeeeeeellll, Andy feeeeeellll...." One of the lushest sounds of the era and a shame they didn't do more. Check out this fantastic live footage...

I so throughly hated their name and those two songs "Jackie Onassis" and "What Does Sex Mean To Me" that I never bothered to investigate anything else they ever did.
On flask-back weekends, I turn on the news when those two songs come on.[xx(]

I didn't listen to this band at all, until someone I used to work with who liked them would bring into work cassettes of theirs to listen to. It was really good stuff, and I always wondered how I ever missed this band.

My guess is they probably only got proper airplay in the Northeast.

Jimbo--glad you approve.

Album? I prefer Figure 15 over In A Roman Mood
Song? My favorite is Anne Frank Story , but if you pick one to go after try Dick and Jane.

I see their LPs secondhand all the time. I may make an investment now. They were local as well. [8D]

I bought their(vinyl) album a couple months ago and was impressed. With having 4 vocalists, nothing stays formulatic.

Prior to this, all I heard was "what does sex mean to me?" But I like "jackie onassis" better.

I also like that tune about dolls co
