obs, sorry 'bout that. Yousendit was toast on Thursday. If anybody else is having problems with Megaupload, I'll resend them both.

dcappe, no sweat. Last but not least (whoa whoa whoa whoa), "Rodeo"...

I have another copy of this I made 20 years ago, but I haven't been able to turn it up. I don't know if it's as "good" quality, but at least it doesn't have the bug. For now...

Can't help with "The Rhythm," "Be Alone Tonight," "Sooner or Later" or "Waterline." These weren't shown on MTV-2 6 years ago. I don't think Viacom ever had any of them in their archives to begin with.

And thanks for the great website.

Thanks again SomebodySomewhere for the Rodeo video. I had never seen it before and it may be their only video with Colin Cripps on Guitar who went on to Crash Vegas from here.

Thanks for the Spoons site dcappe, and for posting the new link for the Spoons Tribute Page. I've missed it.

Will you be posting any of the gig info for 2006 Spoons shows anytime soon? I'm on the west coast and need as much advance warning as possible.

And thanks to SomebodySomewhere for the videos!

I am very pleased to say that in only 1 week, some very generous Spoons fans have provided for everyone to enjoy:
Videos for
Nova Heart
Smiling In Winter
Old Emotions
Tell No Lies
Romantic Traffic
Bridges Over Borders
Rodeo
When Time Turns Around

and
all of Vertigo Tango, the non Collectible Spoons songs from Talk Back, 1 b-side, 1 song from Stick Figure Neighbourhood and 1 from Listen To The City.

I must say I am blown away by everyone's help with this and I hope there is more to come. So if you have anything such as Videos which aren't listed yet, live shows, live videos, or any music not posted (or better copies of ones which are), please send me an email and we can add your contribution to the site.
Sincerely
Darrin
p.s. If I get any gig/show info I will post it on the website

Don't worry, it wasn't a problem after I found the hidden button :). I wanted to mention it just in case, so someone else won't have to experience the fun Easter Egg hunt.

dcappe, it's funny 'cause "Rodeo" was the first one I saw.

I redid "Bridges" if you don't mind making a swap. It came out unwatchable the first time.

I'll probably re-recap "Rodeo" this weekend. Accidentally had the audio set to default 22050Hz and mono -- and it sounds it.

Thanks. I am planning on uploading Bridges Over Borders, Stick Figure Neighbourhood and Spoons Live Radio Promo EP later this week. I have to convert it from Vinyl. I'll update once it has been added.

Hey everyone
I have just added the following to the spoons.darrincappe.com website :
Stick Figure Neighbourhood (non Collectible Spoons songs from vinyl)
Talk Back (new copy from vinyl + Symmetry)
Bridges Over Borders (from vinyl)
The Live Radio Promo from 1982
A fairly poor cassette copy of a live radio broadcast just before Talk Back was released.
Let me know if I need to fix any of the links and don't complain about the "crackles" from vinyl. If there are any skips let me know and I will try to fix them.
Enjoy

I have added from a vinyl rip, the Listen To The City Soundtrack including the 3:42 version of Tell No Lies, the Tell No Lies EP including the 6:11 version of Tell No Lies and White Lies.

I believe I have now added everything I have to the site.

If you have any new material, let me know and I will add it. If you have tapes of shows/other material (such as My Job/After the Institution) you can even arranged to send me a copy and I will transfer it and upload it to the site.

Thanks, dcappe. A truly amazing site. I had no idea that there were so many other Spoons fans out there.

Per your request that we let you know about any troublesome links, the links for "Only for Athletes" and "Annita" (I think that's the correct spelling) don't seem to work. Not complaining, mind you. Just grateful for all that's there. [:)]

Both links are now fixed.
Thanks for the compliment. I'm happy everyone likes it and that Gord was ok with this.
