Vince beat me to it. Wesley MacGoohan's (sp?) sax on the entire Breaking Glass soundtrack is the best use of the instrument in the genre.

He also played on the "Out On The Wasteland" ep by the AntiNowhere League.

I changed my mind. I have to agree with driverx. Tears for Fears- the working hour! They used sax in a few other songs and it was always great!

Took me a while to respond to this one, I guess-but then I put on one of my favorite comps from the period-IRS Greatest Hits Vol. 2 & 3, and here it came blasting it at me-Track 1 side 1-Cold, Cold Shoes-Fleshtones.

Do you not remember that Mick Karn was just as deadly with the Sax as he was on Bass....? Well not as deadly but he used it here and there.....

and yes, Laura Logic was great one listen to Arosol Burns and you hooked. Also Bay area punk/new wave/sk

I just remembered another one-"New York's All Right if you like saxaphones" by Fear-I can't remember-but I think it was actually front man Lee Ving doing the skronking on that number.
