"The Emperor's New Clothes" and "Mandinka" are excellent songs from Sinéad O'Connor -- I've got them in my mp3 player for when I run - always makes me run faster.

Billy: Don't provoke me, old man.
Frank: You don't scare me. I got chunks of guys like you in my stool!

I remember laughing my ass off when he said that. Classic!!

<br>How could she go wrong with a Prince song? She could have been much bigger than what she was. Her political outbursts damaged her career. And it wouldn't have hurt her to throw away the Lady Bic. She would have been kind of pretty with a full head of hair.

There's a video in which she has long hair.... she did that video in the late 90s. It was the video for a song called "No man's woman" or sth like that... I was like 11 by then so I can't recall well.

One of the most beautiful songs that was sung by Sinead is when she teamed up with the band Conjure One singing "Tears from the Moon".
Excellent voice!

here here good man! Thats a really great track!
I still listen to the Lion & The Cobra every so often and have I Don't Not Want but rarely give it a listen as she pretty much lost me there.
Another excellent track is You Made Me The Theif Of Your Heart...and if any kind soul here has the CD single I'm desperate for the remixes of this track. [:D]

Unlike Jessica Simpson Sinead can sing. There was truthiness to her performance. I felt it really came from the heart and by her ripping the photo apart she was truly expressing herself, which by the way,is what artists are supposed to do. It scares me when an artist from another country performs here and has their freedom of expression torn up by this so-called free country. To all those who were offended by that you are just a bunch of cry babies. I'm Catholic and she did not offend me, After that I became an even bigger fan of hers.

I think the artists have to keep in their media of choice. For musicians , it should be about music , for politicians it's about politics. I kow her statements were suppose to be making a point but IMHO it just made her look like a dork and destoyed her career and inevitably her media of choice..music.
regardless here's one of my favorites that she apeared on.
Jah Wobble,s Invaders of the heart-Visions of you.

I wish there had been a "antics made me like her more" choice. I never paid much attention to her prior to the pope picture incident. That was awesome. She gained a fan for life that night [8D]. I just wish she'd gone further.
