Welcome to the new forum!
If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

1) Click on 'I forgot my password' at the login prompt
2) Enter your username and email you registered with and submit
3) You will receive an email with an activation link. Please click it and then log in using the random password provided
4) Go to your User Control Panel and click on the Profile tab
5) Click on 'Edit Account Settings' and enter your new password twice followed by the random password provided earlier. Click Submit.
6) That's it...you're back in! You may have to log in again with your new password.

The worst was Modern English's Melt With You being used for a Burger King cheeseburger ad.

I'll bet anything they were high-fiving each other over how clever that was.

Sorry Marv. I'm kind of against the whole Commercial sellout thing. Just my opinion. For the artist though, i guess it's cool to still be making money from their music. I hate "It's crumb-believable" commercial.

I don't really have a problem with it. It's not like it is the band making the loser commercials. Making money from licencing their tracks to commercials = less need to sell out when they make music.

Besides, I've been introduced to some great tracks from commercials, such as Telepopmusik's Breathe, and Hooverphonic's Renaissance Affair.

Maybe like the boomers, we're just the new target age demographic that can afford or needs to buy mops, coffee and burgers for our kids. So what did we like to listen to; ah, the new wave
